The Corry Artists’ Guild is back with its first art show since the pandemic hiatus and its theme is fitting: back in action. There will be original art work and the favorite “Famous Fakes.” The guild is accepting late registrations only this week. Entries are $5 apiece of free for those under 18. Email corryartistsguild@outlook.com to enter & find more information in today’s Journal.
The show will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 5 at Corry Higher Education Council, 221 N. Center St.
On the eveing of Friday, August 4, the public is invited to meet the artists featured in the show from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Corry Hi-Ed.
The Guild will also have a table at First Fridays this year for people interested in what’s going on.
