OUR GOAL Our Goal is to stimulate interest in all forms of art by promoting schools, exhibitions, performances, and productions of artistic and cultural value to all area residents. Under our umbrella we provide support to the following. Corry Area Arts Council Auxiliary Corry Community Theatre C4U – Creativity For Youth Throughout the year, we present: Sunday in the Park Thursdays in the Park Dinner Theatres Family Nights at the Movies Bus trips to Chautauqua Institution

Sunday in the Park as their Favorite Community Festival/Event
for 2016.
The three ladies have ties to the Arts community. Kathy is a current member of the Board of Directors of the Corry Area Arts Council, Inc and is the adult adviser for the Creativity For Youth affiliate. Lisa is one of the area adults who assisted with the formulation of the C4Uth group and who participated in a number of the fund raisers. Wendy is the current Secretary and former President of the Corry Artists' Guild.
Laboring for the arts The Corry Central Labor Council has donated $1,000 to the Corry Area Arts Council, whichwill use the funds to help finance the 45th Sunday in the Park set for Aug. 7th 2016 in city park. Thanks to the generosity of the Corry Central Labor Council who shared $1,000. of their Gaming Revenue, children of the Corry Area will be treated to five hours of bounce house fun and a train ride around City Park. Student Volunteer of the Year
I would like to nominate Zachery and Joseph Puckley. Zach, a senior, is l8 and Joe, a sophomore, is l6. They are the home-school sons of Rodney and Lisa Puckley of Corry. Their involvement includes: C4Uth – Creativity for Youth: Served on committee to plan, organize, and establish this group. Helped set up for the performance and sold refreshments for Gannon’s Shakespeare in the Park in 2012 Planned and attended the Fifties Sock Hop at Winter Fest 2013. Set up and worked Dime Pitch Booth at Sunday in the Park, Glen Mead Days, and Spartie Fair in 2012 and 2013. Corry Arts Council: Assisted with serving and cleaned up at four dinner theaters in 2013 – 2014 Took tickets at door for Bobby Borgia’s Magic Show in February of 2013 Corry Arts Council Auxiliary: Served as assistant directors at Missoula Theater productions in 2012 and 2013 Took tickets at door of Messiah College Jazz program at First Methodist Church in 2013 Columbus Community Church: Appeared in Christmas play entitled “No Wonder” in 2013 Corry Historical Society: Assist with clean up and set up reorganized displays at museum Work with newly involved individuals in acquainting them with museum. Serve as tour guides at the Museum Participated in Hands on History Day in September 2013 Participated in making of snow sculpture of climax engine at museum Winter Fest 2014 I nominated both young men as they are equally involved in their volunteer efforts.
